My buddy Brian posted some
hints about getting "free" stuff at movie theatres... Here's a bit:
2) Bring in your cup or popcorn bag or bucket from the last time. Walk up to the counter and ask for a free refill. On the off chance that they'll be suspicious, have a little bit of popcorn in the bag still, or a little bit of ice in yer cup still. Make sure to save the lid from last time. Bad fakers won't have the previous lid. A true honest refiller will have his lid still on his cup or at the very least in his other hand. (note: this only works at theaters that provide free refills on the appropriate items)
Interesting approach, but I'd rather spend the 2.50 for a soda :)
