+ 3 - 0 | § Podcasting with Linux

It IS possible to get podcasts working on your ipod when only using Linux! Here's what I had to do (while using Debian "Etch"):The great thing about this is that you don't have to convert the files from mp3 to aac or m4b or whatever... it will work with plain old mp3 files!

+ 3 - 0 | § Trademarks

I googled him on Yahoo and he seems pretty interesting.

+ 1 - 1 | § New Toy

My new linux based Intel storage server (Intel SS4000-E) came in today. I decided to get something like this for my home network so that I could have a backup and storage solution that would always be available... which will llow me to tinker a bit more with my workstation/main computer without risking any important content (wedding photos, music, etc). The most interesting thing about the device is that it runs a non-x86 intel processor. I'll post more after I get it up and running :)

+ 1 - 1 | § Frustration

I think this about says it all: The Bears offense definitely have some work to do before their next game. Grossman can't turn the ball over 6 times and still expect to win every week!

+ 1 - 1 | § Ohio Linuxfest 2006

In case anyone is interested, I've posted my pictures from the 2006 Ohio Linuxfest. It was my first year attending, so I didn't really know what to expect. I was thinking it would be similar to Linuxworld in San Francisco (which I attended earlier this year), but I was wrong. It was a much smaller show, but it felt more authentic. The speakers were informative and insightful, but the booths on the main floor were a little sparsely populated. I did have some good conversations (mainly with the GNOME, Fedora, FreeGeek and KDE guys), but most of them were either full of corporate speak, or lame-ness (NetBSD guy I'm looking at you!). All in all, I'm glad I went, but next time I'll be looking for something a little closer for a shorter drive (it took 8 hours each way!).
