Amazon did the world a great service by making a comprehensive online music store available without DRM. What's more they made a nice little application for downloading whole albums, which are usually offered at a nice discount from the price of a CD. It eliminates the need for buying a CD, shipping it, taking off the plastic (annoying) and saves me the extra step of ripping the CD before adding it to my collection. Awesome! One question: When's the Linux version going to be ready??

I came across this wired article, which is a fascinating look at the world of Alternate Reality Games(ARG) and hidden marketing. This is kind of what is being done for the Cloverfield movie.
